Training Your Team to Work With AI

The best tool fails if nobody uses it. Adoption is mostly about people.

Many GenAI projects work technically and still fail because people do not trust or understand them. A little change management goes a long way.

What works

  • Explain why: what problem it solves and what it will not do.
  • Train on real tasks from the team's own week, not generic demos.
  • Share early wins from colleagues, not from management.
  • Collect feedback and visibly act on it.

Address the worry

People often fear replacement. Be honest about the goal. Position the tool as taking over the dull parts so they can do the work that needs judgment.

Name a champion in each team who can answer questions and report problems.
